This service is provided by UstadMobile FZ-LLC (a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates).
Information we collect and purpose
The information we collect is only personally identifiable if you register with us and login. You must either be above 13 years old to register or you must have the consent of your parent or guardian. If you are registered and logged in, then we collect the following information:
- Your mobile operating system verison, device specification (inc total available memory and processor speed), and the total volume of mobile data your phone normally uses. We use this information to optimize performance for the widest range of devices and to provide support in the event of any technical problems.
- Your name, age, gender, and contact information (e.g. phone number and email address). We use this to provide features in the app. We use this information to provide features in the app (e.g. to allow teachers match students up with their quiz scores, ensure the equal participation of girls/boys, etc).
- Your IP address. We use this information for technical support purposes and typically delete it within 90 days.
We do not show ads or participate in any advertising.
Access to data
We will not disclose personally identifiable data to third parties unless required to do so by law. We may disclose aggregate information that does not include any personally identifiable information (e.g. the toal number of people who have used a course).
Usage by children
Aynone under the age of 13 must provide the contact details of their parent or guaridan to obtain their approval.
Your rights
You (or your parent/guardian if you are under 13) may request a copy of all data that we hold on you and request that it be removed. You may also submit corrections for any inaccurate data. You may do so by sending an email (including proof of identity) to info@ustadmobile.com.
